The Illinois Chiropractic Society invites you to join us for the 2007 ICS Chicago National Convention and Expo. This convention promises to be yet another great event for chiropractors in Illinois - it is sure to be that perfect opportunity for you to Invest in Yourself!

The educational lineup this September is all about choices. Nineteen to be exact. Thirteen speakers from all over the country will be joining you for this great educational opportunity. Only 10 months will remain after the convention for you to obtain your Illinois CME hours, and this weekend offers 17 of your required hours (again, a big thank you to Logan College of Chiropractic).

Treatment:
There are many workshops designed around treatments in your office during the weekend. Dr. Warren Hammer on the Functional Evaluation for Graston Technique (Graston Technique); Dr. Arlan Fuhr on the Activator Method (Activator Methods); Dr. Rodger Murphree on both Heart Disease and Mood Disorders (Douglas Laboratories) are just a few of those presenting on treatments. Invest in Yourself and your patients.

Diagnosis:
Randy Ferrence, DC, MD brings his unique qualifications on several topics throughout the weekend including Bad Things that Present as Back Pain, Spinal Deformities, and Common Pediatric Conditions (NCMIC*). Among others, Dr. Brian Jensen (Foot Levelers) will be discussing The Structural Model of Care. This is your opportunity to Invest in Yourself as a diagnostician.

Risk Management:
Invest in Your Practice with topics ranging from Compliant Documentation to How to Negotiate Employment Contracts and Mastering CPT Coding to Professional Boundaries are just a few of the courses concerning Risk Management for the weekend. Dr. David Pinkus (DBP Consulting), Melinda S. Maleck, JD (Lebow, Malecki & Tasch), and Dr. Marty Kotlar will be lecturing on these and more subjects.

Chiropractic Assistants:
CAÌs will have a variety of choices throughout the weekend as well. Anna Allen (NCMIC*) will discuss Patient Communications, Dr. Randy Ferrence (NCMIC*) will coach on the Recognition of Child Abuse and Neglect, Terry Coy (Cornerstone Medical Management) on The Road to More Effective Billing, Coding and Documentation, and much more.
