Canadian Chiropractic Research Foundation (CCRF)
The Canadian Chiropractic Research Foundation (formerly the Chiropractic Foundation for Spinal Research) is a registered charitable organization dedicated to funding and facilitating clinical, biomedical, health services and population health research relative to the practice of chiropractic.
The CCRF is the professionÌs primary national research funding organization and has been supporting worthy research projects since 1976. It was incorporated under the federal Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs in 1978. CCRF grants assist doctors of chiropractic to obtain their Masters and PhD degrees and to establish themselves in multi-disciplinary research positions. The CCRF has also been instrumental in partnering with organizations such as the federal Canadian Institute for Health Research to establish Chiropractic Research Chairs in universities across the country.
