Carrick Chiropractic
I am originally from Quebec in Canada but have been in Northern Ireland for 10 years now. I first came to Belfast for a 3 week locum and have been here ever since!
I initially practiced for 7 years in Ballyclare but then decided to take a year out to travel the world with my partner Alan. After touring South-East Asia and Australia in 2008, we came back well refreshed and ready to take on new challenges.
My introduction to chiropractic was somewhat different than most people. I didn't have back pain, I didn't suffer from headaches or pins and needles. As a teenager I was suffering terribly from period cramps, and was told that a chiropractor might be able to help, and I would have tried anything to feel better. So I went to the local chiropractor and he explained that all the abdominal organs ie bowel, bladder, uterus etc.. were getting their supply from the nerves in my lower back, and that an unhealthy or misaligned spine could be the cause of my problem. He adjusted my spine AND IT WORKED!
