DR. CHRISTOPHER NOTLEY: NEW CHIROPRACTOR IN TOWN
WINNIPEG -- Dr. Christopher Notley brings the best of many worlds to his patients at Downtown Chiropractic Centre and Gelley Chiropractic Office. Nowhere in Manitoba will you find another health care provider with Dr. Notley’s credentials. He is a licensed chiropractor, certified athletic therapist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, certified to provide acupuncture, as well as an Active Release Technique (ART) provider.
“I believe that the care of back injuries, neck injuries, or any other injury requires a multi-disciplinary approach to maximally benefit the patient,” Dr. Notley says. “For successful care of an injury, patients need proper nutrition, joints that move well, muscles and ligaments that are strong and flexible, and no scar tissue adhesions that restrict movement. I can address each of these problems.”
As a chiropractor, Dr. Notley assesses and adjusts the spine and other joints so that they move well. Acupuncture is an effective tool in the care of both acute and chronic pain related conditions. As an athletic therapist, he provides patients with specific exercises and stretches to help prevent the reoccurrence of his patients’ complaints, as well as rehabilitate them after surgery or injuries. Strength and conditioning specialists specialize in getting people in shape, providing them advice on proper nutrition as well as exercise programs to help them achieve their goals.
Active Release Technique is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based “massage” technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly with ART.
With these tools Dr. Notley feels he can be of great service for those who have aches, pains, reduced mobility or just want to achieve better health.
