The ICA Council on Chiropractic Philosophy is presenting a unique Chiropractic Summit, December 7-8 at the Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas , Nevada . Titled ÏInnate Intelligence in the Modern World,Ó this Summit is designed for doctors of chiropractic and students who have an interest in understanding the depth and breadth of chiropractic and what chiropractic philosophy actually encompasses, from the scientific to the clinical.

The speakers on the program include Dr. Guy Riekeman, president of Life University; Dr. Thom Gelardi, former president of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic; Dr. Rob Sinnott, chair of the ICA Council on Chiropractic Philosophy; Dr. Dave Browning, Associate Professor of Philosophy, Parker College; Dr. John Maher, instructor on the Philosophy Diplomate program; Dr. Skip George, well-known New Beginnings speaker; and Dr. Henson Barrett, Diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophical Standards.

The speakers' perspectives, in conjunction with eight selected professional papers presented by field practitioners and college faculty, promises a stimulating weekend of information, discussion and debate. The topics of the papers range from ÏChiropractic's Basic Metaphysical SyllogismÓ to ÏInnate Ò Our Achilles Heel or Herculean Duty,Ó to many other aspects of Innate Intelligence.

This is not a motivational program,Ó said ICA Philosophy Council Chair Dr. Rob Sinnott. ÏYes, it will motivate, but it is essentially an intellectual program to challenge doctors and students to think, to open their minds and intellect to what chiropractic is and what it is not. This program is different and I invite all chiropractors to come to Las Vegas and join us in this one-of-a-kind program. I guarantee you will find it more than interesting.Ó

The program starts on Friday at 1:00 p.m. and ends on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. A welcome reception for attendees and vendors will be held on Friday evening after the last session and lunch will be provided on Saturday.
