Managing Plantar Fasciitis
Every morning when you wake, do you begin to fear the moment your feet will come in contact with the floor? Do you wince at the thought of the pain your feet will suffer upon standing from your office desk? Perhaps then, you have experienced an attack of plantar fasciitis. This condition can be quite manageable if addressed with the correct strategy. Not only should the removal of pain be a focus, but the root of the problem should also be centered on in order to prevent future occurrences of this pesky condition.
My most recent article for My Yoga Online is on the topic of plantar fasciitis. This article explains what plantar fasciitis is and how it develops as well as some beneficial treatment options. I also suggest a few yoga poses that could aid in your defense against this condition. However, if you are not an experienced yogi, it is best to begin by attending a few classes with a well recognized instructor. By doing this, you will better grasp the objective of each pose and therefore be much more prepared to attempt them safely while alone. Yoga is wonderful only when practiced safely.
Enjoy finding the root of your neuromusculoskeletal problems and not just simply focusing on your symptoms. Health care is team work. I challenge you to embrace your own role in your health care.
