National Institute of Chiropractic Research
The National Institute of Chiropractic Research (NICR) is a private, non-profit (501c3) corporation established in Minnesota in 1987 (IRS Tax Exempt #36-356-3403). Our intent is to raise funds for fundamental scientific, clinical and historical research and scholarship in chiropractic. The NICR conducts research, and through a modest extramural grant-making program, has funded a number of research projects by other investigators.

To date funds have been awarded to scholars and investigators at Life Chiropractic College West, Logan College of Chiropractic, Northwestern College of Chiropractic, the (Pacific) Consortium for Chiropractic Research, Palmer College of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic West, Western States Chiropractic College, the University of the Pacific, and Arizona State University, among others. Awards have also been made to the Association for the History of Chiropractic, Cleveland Chiropractic College of Kansas City and Palmer College of Chiropractic West in support of projects in chiropractic history. The NICR is a member of the Association for the History of Chiropractic.
