Abstract of KR20040103300

PURPOSE: An open-type scoliosis brace, which carries out the chiropractic of the spinal column to which the scoliosis is dislocated, is provided to apply the three-point pressure principle of Jorden so as to correct the transformed spinal column, and to maximize the scoliosis correction by inducing the upright arrangement of the human body. CONSTITUTION: The open-type scoliosis brace is light-weighted and includes: a rotated-transformation correcting portion, composed of a diagonal pressing part and a opening part as one pair; a lateral curve correcting portion, composed of an axilla part(3), which is extended from the upside to the downside and a counter pressure of a curved point is applied to, and a pelvis part(4a); and many reinforced straps(7b,7c,7d), configured in such a manner that a thin, slim and high-elastic metal material is inserted into a thermoplastic resin(Polypropylene) which made out of a brace material. The vertical reinforced strap(7c) among the straps is a standard line for estimating whether the present brace is uprightly worn.
